DivestmentIf you're like most Wisconsinites, you wouldn't give campaign contributions or endorsements to politicians who enact regressive, anti-labor and anti-family legislation. But you may be dining at restaurants who do. This list of Wisconsin Restaurant Association members have all (perhaps unknowingly) contributed to measures such as striking down Milwaukee's paid sick time ordinance, which would have kept ill restaurant employees out of contact with food but still able to support their families.

One of the good onesWe'll be soon publishing a list of the most ethical restaurants across the state that have either dropped their WRA memberships or not had them to begin with, and have agreed to make a public commitment to the welfare of their employees and their families. There are many excellent, progressive restaurants in Wisconsin: help us lift them up.

How you can helpWhile we reach out to and compile our list of progressive restaurants aligned with your values, we encourage you to reach out to your favorite restaurants who may unwittingly be regressive WRA donors. Let them know that the way that they treat employees matters in Wisconsin, and that you will support them only after they make the decision to drop the WRA. Send them to our pledge page for restaurant owners, and let us know on social media who we should reach out to. We're all in this together.
